Charlene Romano (C ’91) presented numerous flute workshops at middle and high schools in both Winchester, Virginia, and Richmond, Virginia, throughout the Fall 2023 semester. Romano performed with the St. Louis (Maryland) Chamber Orchestra in December 2023 and also served as a panelist for the Music Theory Pedagogy Seminar at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. She continues to perform frequently with her spouse, clarinetist John Romano (C ’91), as DuoRomano.

Grant Taylor (AS ’20) and his stepfather, Scott Spitnale, were featured on the “Today” show on NBC after Spitnale received serious injuries from a motorcycle accident and Taylor helped him learn how to walk again.

Director of Collaborative Audio Arts and Associate Professor of Music Production & Recording Technology Graham Spice, M.S., reconnected with Michaela Brayboy (C ’22) and Tom Graham (C ’12) in Nashville, Tennessee, during the 2023 Thanksgiving holiday break.
