Percussion Ensemble and Viña Participate in Percussion @ Penn State Festival & Conference and More

The Shenandoah Conservatory Percussion Ensemble was invited to participate and perform in the Percussion @ Penn State Festival & Conference in March 2024. Assistant Professor of Percussion Karlyn R. Viña, D.M.A., presented a clinic on theatrical percussion and the ensemble performed a full concert in the Percussion Ensemble Showcase as part of the festival.

Dr. Viña also presented a clinic on expressivity and musicality as part of the Virginia/DC Percussive Art Society’s Day of Percussion at Virginia Tech in March.
