Inaugural Concert of the Ryuji Ueno Institute for Mind & Music Experience

The Ryuji Ueno Institute for Mind & Music Experience will host its first inaugural concert at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, at Goodson Chapel – Recital Hall. The performance features world-class musicians such as Visiting Assistant Professor of Violin Stella Chen, D.M.A., Visiting Assistant Professor of Violin Kevin Zhu, B.M., and Visiting Assistant Professor of Collaborative Piano Ryo Yanagitani, D.M.A. Chen was the Gramophone 2023 Young Artist of the Year and has garnered worldwide attention with her first-prize win at the 2019 Queen Elisabeth Competition, followed by the 2020 Avery Fisher Career Grant and 2020 Lincoln Center Emerging Artist Award. Zhu was also a winner of the 2018 Paganini Competition, and his stellar record is listed on his website.
