Brady Performs in Concert Version of ‘Pete ‘n’ Keely’ at Carnegie Hall

Harold Herman Chair in Musical Theatre, Professor of Theatre and Music Director Patrick Brady performed in a sold-out concert performance of the Off-Broadway show “Pete ‘n’ Keely” on Monday, Feb. 17, in Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall. Brady served as the musical director/arranger and pianist for this occasion. He also wrote (along with the lyricist Mac Waldrop) five original songs for the show.

The concert featured Jennifer Simard and Christopher Siebert, two Tony-nominated Broadway luminaries who are currently starring in the hit musical, “Death Becomes Her.” “Pete ‘n’ Keely” debuted in 2000 at the John Houseman Theatre in New York City and was nominated for a Best Off-Broadway Musical Award by the Outer Critics Circle. The show has had more than 80 productions over the past 25 years.
