Doris Lederer

Director of Chamber Music and Professor of Viola and Chamber Music Doris Lederer, Diploma, Curtis Institute of Music, is representing Shenandoah Conservatory again by returning to the Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival and Young Artist Chamber Music Program in Blue Hill, Maine, for her 27th summer, where she will coach chamber music groups, teach viola and perform.

“As always, it’s a great honor to work with students and faculty members from schools such as Juilliard, Yale School of Music, Rice University, New England Conservatory, Curtis Institute of Music, Eastman School of Music and Oberlin Conservatory of Music,” said Lederer.

She also looks forward to welcoming five new first-year violists to her studio when she returns to Shenandoah Conservatory this fall for the new academic year.
