May 2025 Class Notes

Scott Logsdon (C ’84) wrote a new musical entitled “Romero and Juliet” and Shea Curran (C ’24) played the role of Romero at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

Golder O’Neill (C ’92) represented Shenandoah University at the Pan American Audio Educators Conference in Mexico City, Mexico.

Kathy Voytko (C ’94) was cast as Mrs. Potts in the North American tour of Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast.”

On May 16, Anne Weiss (N ’97, ’98, ’00) reflected on her path in the valley in an interview that celebrated her 25 years as a nurse practitioner. (pictured left)

Laura Woyasz (C ’98) performed as Pattie in “Kimberly Akimbo” at the National Theatre in Washington, DC.

Chris Sexton (C ’00, ’10), a member of Nothin’ Fancy, performed at the Collins Theatre in Paragould, Arkansas.

On May 8, Violet Amoabeng, (B ’09, ’11) was featured in CNN World for her Ghanaian edible skincare products. (pictured right)

Paige Herschell (C ’10) was cast on “General Hospital” as Jacinda.

Carrie Adams (P ’11), chief operating officer for Meritus Health, was featured in The Daily Records 2025 Health Care Power list.

Jake Emmerling (C ’11) finished a run of performances as Peter in “Jesus Christ Superstar” with Pittsburgh Musical Theatre in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

This Spring, Matt Edwards (C ’15) focused his sabbatical on sharing his unique approach to training musical theatre performers.

Ethan Koons (AS ’16, P ’19) is a pharmacist for Norland Avenue Pharmacy and Carl’s Drug Store in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. (pictured left)

Dani Maloney (C ’17) an acrobat in Cirque du Soleil, returned to her home state to perform at Wilkes-Barre Township, Pennsylvania in the national tour “OVO.”

Zachary Bigelow (C ’18) was cast in an ensemble role for the “Back To The Future” National Tour.

On April 21, Gabby Driscoll (HP ’19) ran in the 2025 DreamBig! Boston Marathon team. 

On May 16, Bailey Hamilton (AS ’20) graduated from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine – Virginia Tech receiving a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
