Singer/songwriter Liz Longley Engages Music Students During Virtual Visit

Liz Longley, an accomplished singer/songwriter, performer, recording artist and entrepreneur, worked with music students during a brief visit to Shenandoah Conservatory on Monday, Sept. 15. She met with students in The Entrepreneurial Artist and Songwriting classes.

Hailed as one of the finest vocalists and songwriters performing in the world today, Longley’s entrepreneurial success is undeniable. She is one of the most-funded female musicians in Kickstarter history, raising over $150,000 from the die-hard, nationwide fanbase she cultivated. Longley offers students a powerful, real-world example of how to merge world-class talent with savvy business strategy, providing an invaluable roadmap for their own careers.

Her visit was coordinated by Interim Director of Contemporary Musicianship & Entrepreneur Development (CMED) and Visiting Assistant Professor of Music Jesse Terry, B.M.
