Digital Marketer Jesse Gillenwalters Shares Industry Insights with Conservatory Students

Digital marketer Jesse Gillenwalters will visit three classes as a guest artist at Shenandoah Conservatory during the month of October. He will share a special presentation and Q&A on digital marketing to students in The Entrepreneurial Artist class at noon on Oct. 1, in Ruebush Hall, Room 128; as well as students who are pursuing their Contemporary Musicianship & Entrepreneur Development capstone projects at 4 p.m. on Oct. 3, and at 1 p.m. on Oct. 15, in Ruebush Hall, Room 243.

Gillenwalters is a digital marketer for musicians at Indepreneur.io. He has worked one-on-one with more than 150 musicians to help them achieve six-figure revenues, sold-out shows and Billboard-charting album sales. Utilizing a sales-first marketing approach, Gillenwalters is passionate about liberating artists from gatekeepers by putting the power to monetize and grow their audience into the artists’ hands.

All Shenandoah Conservatory students, faculty and staff are invited to attend these presentations. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis; priority seating will be reserved for students enrolled in their respective classes.

Gillenwalters’ visit was coordinated by Interim Director of Contemporary Musicianship & Entrepreneur Development (CMED) and Visiting Assistant Professor of Music Jesse Terry, B.M.
