Kontur ’24 Cast in Industry Reading of Stage Adaptation of ‘Can’t Hardly Wait’

Matt Kontur ’24 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre) was cast in the invitation-only industry reading of the stage musical adaptation of the cult film “Can’t Hardly Wait” that was held in Los Angeles on Nov. 21. The in-development musical — backed by Lively McCabe Entertainment and Primary Wave Music — brings 1990s teen nostalgia to the stage, pairing a jukebox score of late-’90s/early-2000s hits with the familiar coming-of-age story of high-school seniors at a graduation-eve house party.
