Shenandoah University loves Apple Blossom Time! While members of the university community can take part in official Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival events held on campus and throughout the community, the university also holds its own student activities, not affiliated with the festival itself, to celebrate. 

Check out these opportunities to break out your pink and green!

April 22 

6-8 p.m. | Brandt Student Center, Ferrari Room

Alpha Gamma Delta hosts “Alpha Gam In Bloom,” a bingo night supporting the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation, on Wednesday, April 22,from 6-8 p.m. in the Brandt Student Center, Ferrari Room. Enjoy a dessert bar, crafts and bingo while assembling snack packs for Bass-Hoover Elementary School in Stephens City, Virginia. Tickets are $6 and available at the official event page. April 25

9:45 a.m. | Hazel-Pruitt Armory, Collaboratory

Shenandoah Esports offers an action-packed day of competition at the Apple Blossom Gaming Festival on Saturday, April 25, in the Hazel-Pruitt Armory. Starting at 9:45 a.m., this event includes a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament with a $500 prize pool, a new duo-based Esports Circuit, and a cosplay contest. Attendees can also browse local vendors in the Artist’s Alley or participate in a coloring contest. While general admission and spectating are free, entry into the Super Smash Bros. and Esports Circuit tournaments requires a $20 fee for each. April 27-29 

All Day | Winchester Main Campus

Take a break and enjoy the spring scenery from Monday, April 27, to Wednesday, April 29, as the Blossom Bus travels across the Winchester Main Campus to provide students and staff with a festive ride and a chance to celebrate the season. This multi-day event offers a unique way to navigate campus and connect with peers during the final weeks of the semester. This event is hosted by the Student Government Association. 7 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. | Brandt Student Center, Ferrari Room

Prepare for a safe and successful bloom weekend on Tuesday, April 28, or Wednesday, April 29, by attending an Apple Blossom Safety Talk at 7 p.m. or 7:45 p.m. in the Brandt Student Center, Ferrari Room. These brief sessions offer practical tips on making smart choices and looking out for friends during the upcoming festivities. This event is hosted by Residence Life. April 30

5 p.m. | Allen Dining Hall & Quad

Kick off the weekend festivities on Thursday, April 30, at 5 p.m. at the Allen Dining Hall and Quad by joining the Blossom Bash to enjoy some local snacks and customize a free, limited-edition T-shirt at the tie-dye station. Gather and celebrate the spring season with some creative flair before the bloom weekend begins. Supplies are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. May 1

11 a.m.-2 p.m. | Brandt Student Center, Leadership Lawn & Lot B

Kick off the holiday weekend on Friday, May 1, at 11 a.m. on the Brandt Student Center Leadership Lawn and Lot B at the Blossom Bash, featuring a petting zoo, carnival rides, and giant inflatables. Celebrate with music, Bundt cakes, and free food while enjoying the Whirly Bird carnival attraction. Experience the excitement of the season with friends in a festive outdoor setting.
