Professional Highlights:
Joshua Montgomery is a certified physician assistant with clinical experience in hematology/oncology and primary care.
He has active membership in American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants (VAPA), and Virginia Association of Minority PAs (VAMPA). He previously was selected as a fellow in the PAEA Future Educator’s fellowship.
Joshua also has a background as a public health professional with experience working for local community health organizations, state health departments, and at the federal level. His public health background includes serving in the National Health Corps (NHC), Americorps service program, working with the YMCA Richmond Diabetes Prevention & Control Program, and working as an ORISE Fellow in the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, (HHS), Office of the Assistant Secretary of Health (OASH). He is member of the Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health.
In addition, Joshua currently serves on the Board of Directors for the nccPA Health Foundation and is an active mentor in the National Society of Black Physician Assistants (NSBPA) mentorship program.
