Dr. Kate Holland is a theatre-maker multi-hyphenate based in New York City. Professional highlights include founder/principal of Ghost Light Works, executive director of Triad Stage, associate director of Pace University’s Sands College of Performing Arts, deputy general manager at ATG’s Hudson Theatre (Broadway), associate general manager at Aruba Productions, and a robust career as a freelance production manager in regional and off-Broadway theatre. In 2026, she founded the theatre maker collective, Curlybird. Additionally, Holland continues to practice as an actor, director and producer, and has been a member of Actors’ Equity Association since 2006.

Personal Highlights

Kate Holland is a marathon runner (New York City, 2019), a sailor and a student of the fiddle. She also has a working knowledge of Scottish Gaidhlig (Gaelic) and an obsession with Zelda Fitzgerald. Holland also continues to study acting at The Barrow Group, where she has been a member since 2007.
