Larissa Watlington is an innovative business educator at Shenandoah University’s College of Business, Engineering, and Technology, where she bridges business strategy with academic frameworks and emerging technologies to prepare the next generation of business leaders for the future of work. Before joining Shenandoah University, she served as a Senior Consultant and Team Lead at Deloitte Consulting, where she both led and supported high-stakes strategic initiatives and cross-functional teams focused on large-scale digital and organizational transformations. In higher education, her career also includes serving as a full-time faculty member at the University of Miami Herbert Business School, where she was appointed as a Teaching Fellow in Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR) by the Office of Academic Innovation, exploring how spatial computing and immersive environments simulate real-world training and curriculum innovation. Larissa is trilingual with native fluency in Portuguese and English, and conversational fluency in Spanish.

Personal Highlights

Larissa resides with her husband and two boys, including a first-year college student. She enjoys Barre and dance fitness courses, boating, and learning about innovation.
