Personal Highlights:

I have three great kids, a wonderful wife, two cats and a dog — oh, and one fish. I’ve done a lot and experienced a lot and I have a lot of stories to tell. There’s always something new coming down the road. It can be terrifying, fun, exciting, or whatever — but it’s always worthy of another story. Come ask sometime.

I cook a mean pot of chili. I’ve built treehouses and decks. I’ve even changed the oil in my car once. I’m that Jack-of-all-Trades and I love living in that world.

Professional Highlights:

I’ve been a little bit of everywhere and done a little bit of everything. I’ve worked fast food, day cares, with scientists, as an instructor at a nuclear facility, as a substitute teacher, as a commercial video producer, documentary film maker, news photographer, marketing video producer, and now as a college professor.

I like to think of myself as a storyteller. Whether it is through video, written word, or any other medium I can get my hands on, I love to tell a story. That can be my own, or another person’s, or the university’s. I shoot photos, video and edit both. I write and speak.
