Fields of Expertise:

My areas of expertise include athletic training education, healthcare leadership, lower extremity injury evaluation and rehabilitation, and specialized healthcare for performing artists and esports athletes. My teaching and scholarship emphasize the application of biomechanics, neuromuscular control, and evidence-based practices to injury prevention, clinical assessment, and rehabilitation. I am particularly passionate about advancing healthcare education and improving access to specialized care for traditionally underserved populations, including dancers, musicians, and esports athletes. Through interprofessional education, research, and leadership development, I strive to prepare healthcare professionals to deliver inclusive, patient-centered care that recognizes the unique physical and occupational demands of diverse populations.

Personal Highlights:

Outside of academia, I enjoy traveling the world, exploring new cultures, and creating memorable experiences with family and friends. A dancer at heart, I have a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts and continue to embrace my love of movement through soul line dancing.
