Dr. Kidd has been a faculty member in the School of Pharmacy since 1998 and is currently a Professor and Chair of the Department of Biopharmaceutical Sciences.
Dr. Kidd is a two time recipient American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) SU teacher of year award and is a Fellow of the American Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education (AFPE).
His research interests are in the areas of pharmacokinetics and pharmacogenomics, and students are commonly involved in his research projects. He has has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, abstracts, and national presentations. Most recently Dr. Kidd led the development and implementation of Shenandoah University’s SARS-CoV-2 pooled saliva surveillance testing program and is currently testing over a 1000 members of the University every week.
