Dr. Kidd has been a faculty member since 1998, He served as department chair, interim Dean and Dean prior to stepping down to his faculty position in 2026. Dr. Kidd is a two-time recipient American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) SU teacher of the year award, a three-time recipient of the Shenandoah University Wilkins Service Award, and is a Fellow of the American Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education (AFPE). His research interests are in the areas of pharmacokinetics and pharmacogenomics. He has authored over 75 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, abstracts, and national presentations with students commonly being involved in his research projects. Additionally, Dr. Kidd led the development and implementation of Shenandoah University’s SARS-CoV-2 pooled saliva surveillance testing program.
