Can I attend, even if I don’t present at the conference?
YES, you are welcome to register and attend regardless of whether you will present at the conference.
What is an abstract?
An abstract is a brief description, summary, or overview of your planned project. We are welcoming students to submit both research-based and creative works this year. We also welcome educators to propose related workshops. If you need help crafting an abstract or would like to review samples of previous successful YSLS abstracts, contact ysls@su.edu.
Where do I park?
Parking will be available in several lots. The closest parking lot is LOT J (right next to Henkel Hall). Most of our functions will take place in Henkel Hall (#33 on the campus map). SU Campus Map
Where do I check-in for the symposium?
Please come to Henkel Hall, where you may check-in and receive your materials in the foyer area.
What’s the dress code for the day?
We encourage relaxed business casual. You might wish to dress in layers because of anticipated foot traffic and the openings of doors.
I have special diet, mobility, or other needs. How can I get help or get my specific questions answered?
Please email the planning committee at YSLS@su.edu. One of us will contact you soon!
