Carson Guest Teaches at Steps on Broadway, Reconnects with Alumni

Auxiliary Adjunct Associate Professor of Dance Tiffanie Carson, M.F.A., served as a guest teacher at Steps on Broadway in New York City on Dec. 1, as part of its Broadway College Spotlight series. In partnership with prestigious university dance programs across the United States, the Steps on Broadway College Spotlight series is an exclusive experience offering teenage dancers (ages 13 and up) an insiders’ view to college dance training. The organization created this unique virtual opportunity to support young dancers as they learn how to navigate the often challenging and overwhelming college selection process. Dancers can get a feel for class, talk with faculty and have a better understanding of what tools are available to assist in making decisions about college pursuits.

Carson was joined by fourteen Shenandoah Conservatory students and alumni, including:

  • Madison Fregosi ’19 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance)
  • Cassidy Myers ’22 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance)
