Holli Phillips

Holli Phillips is the Student Support Services. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice from Old Dominion University and her Master’s of Arts in Psychology from American Public University Systems. Holli’s job duties are best summed up as being “all things learning”. It’s her job to help students find the techniques, resources and skills they need to help them succeed in their academic journey. This includes overseeing the Study Skills courses and the Turning Point Program, acting as the Accessibility Services Coordinator, and working with colleagues on various committees to serve student needs. She is also the Chapter Adviser for Alpha Lambda Delta, a freshmen honor society.
Marshell Edney

Marshell Edney is the Student Support Specialist. She holds a Bachelors degree in Communication Studies from The University of Virginia’s College at Wise and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Shenandoah University. She coordinates tutoring services and manages our Thrive Guides mentoring program for all Shenandoah students. Her favorite part of her job is connecting with students and helping them achieve their academic goals.
Beth Kane
Accessibility Specialist

Beth is the primary contact for disability support, accommodations, emotional support animals and academic coaching. Beth earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Virginia and her Master’s in College Student Development and Administration from Shepherd University. Her favorite thing about working at SU is the dedicated staff and helping students work towards academic success.
