Holli Phillips is the Director of Learning Resources and Services. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice from Old Dominion University and her Masters of Arts in Psychology from American Public University Systems. Holli’s job duties are best summed up as being “all things learning”. It’s her job to help students find the techniques, resources and skills they need to help them succeed in their academic journey. This includes overseeing the Study Skills courses and the Turning Point Program, acting as the Disability Services Coordinator, and working with colleagues on various committees to serve student needs. She is also the Chapter Adviser for Alpha Lambda Delta, a freshmen honor society.

Jeremai “J” Santiago is the Assistant Director of Learning Resources and Services. He has earned a Bachelors of Arts in Media Arts from Wesley College in Dover,DE and a Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership from Shenandoah University. His primary responsibility is coaching first and second year students in the Harry F Byrd School of Business. He also provides support and leadership for student success initiatives within the office of Learning Resources and Services. J additionally coordinates a retention initiative called Men United for Excellence. J has been a part of the Shenandoah community for five years, two years within the Office of Residence Life and the past three years in the Office of Learning Resources and Services. Go Hornets!!!!

Marshell Edney is the Learning Services Specialist. She holds a Bachelors degree in Communication Studies from The University of Virginia’s College at Wise. She coordinates academic services for all Shenandoah students such as tutoring, group study sessions and testing arrangements. This is Marshell’s sixth year working in higher education. Her favorite part of her job is connecting with students and helping them achieve their academic goals.
