Graduate Programs Ranked in U.S. News & World Report

U.S. News & World Report’s 2020 edition of Best Graduate Schools

Several Shenandoah University graduate programs are ranked nationally in U.S. News & World Report’s 2020 edition of Best Graduate Schools.

Physician Assistant Studies (PA) at No. 21

Physician assistant (PA) studies ranked the highest among Shenandoah’s programs, with U.S. News & World Report placing it No. 21 on its list of top physician assistant graduate programs in the country. The university’s PA program is ranked the best in Virginia and is tied with Stanford University, University of Florida, Rutgers University and Midwestern University. The Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies is a 30-month program that prepares students for primary care practice. The program is located on both the Winchester campus and Shenandoah’s Scholar Plaza site in Loudoun County.

Nursing Midwifery at No. 24

Shenandoah’s Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery prepares you with the necessary skills and knowledge to lead the profession in the promotion of high quality midwifery care, expand knowledge through research and evaluate and revise care through quality assurance.

Pharmacy at No. 77

Shenandoah University’s Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy prepares you to meet the challenges of today’s evolving health care industry, effectively serve patients in a diverse range of settings and become a valued member of the pharmacy profession. Our nationally recognized pharmacy program offers several degree pathways and two campus locations for your convenience.

Physical Therapy at No. 101

Shenandoah University’s Division of Physical Therapy (PT) prepares students as doctorally educated physical therapist who are reflective, collaborative practitioners that provide evidence-based, compassionate and ethical care for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of movement dysfunction across the global community.

Occupational Therapy at No. 106

Shenandoah’s 75-credit Master of Science in Occupational Therapy prepares you to help clients reach their greatest level of quality of life and independence by serving as a caring and effective occupational therapist. The program is delivered in a flexible, hybrid format, with much of the content delivered online.

Nursing Master’s Degree (MSN) at No. 156

The School Of Nursing Offers Several Masters-Level Degree Programs To Help You Further Your Specialized Professional Knowledge including Family Nurse Practitioner, Nurse-Midwifery, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Pracitioner, Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP), and RN to MSN.
