New 2020/21 ShenCoLAB Task Force Student Members Announced

Shenandoah Conservatory welcomes three new members to the 2020/21 ShenCoLAB Task Force. New members include Maggie DeFrees ’23 (Bachelor of Arts in Dance), Brianna Jaeger ’21 (Master of Music in Collaborative Piano) and Jonathan Toomer ’21 (Bachelor of Music in Performance).

These new students join Maya Bhatnagar ’22 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design & Production, Stage Management) Ethan Livers ’21 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design & Production, Sound Design Reinforcement), McKenna Waldron ’22 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre), Assistant Dean for Recruitment and Associate Professor of Bassoon Ryan Romine, D.M.A., and Professor of Theatre Kirsten Trump, M.F.A., to plan and execute Shenandoah Conservatory’s exclusive collaborative initiative.

Key responsibilities for the ShenCoLAB Task Force include planning and correspondence during fall 2020, attendance and active participation at weekly planning meetings during spring 2021 semester, committee tasks as assigned and extensive engagement throughout ShenCoLAB and on festival day. Members receive a $500 stipend for their service.

The 2020/21 ShenCoLAB event runs Tuesday, May 4, through Friday, May 7, and culminates in the Festival of Arts, Ideas & Exploration on Saturday, May 8, 2021. Visit www.su.edu/shencolab to learn more.
