Mental Health Emergencies

Mental health emergencies (this does not include life threatening emergencies) which occur during office hours can be handled by contacting the Wellness Center at 540-665-4530.  In the event of an emergency after office hours, contact the Department of Campus Safety at (540) 678-4444. Campus Safety will contact the Counselor on-call for the appropriate response. If the situation is life threatening, please call 911 and /or go to the nearest Emergency Room, which is Winchester Medical Center, 1840 Amherst Street, (540) 536-8000.
