Happy New Year Alumni!
I hope you have had a fantastic start to 2022. My family welcomed our first granddaughter – six weeks early and healthy. She brings us such joy!
We send best wishes to our executive director Emily Burner as she embarks on the next chapter in her career. We are pleased that she will remain local, and she vows to be active in our alumni community. The university has launched a search for the next Assistant Vice President/Executive Director of Alumni Relations and Constituent Relations. Please share this announcement with those who you think may be well qualified.
Keep up with what is happening at Shenandoah via the online university news and share your news with us at Alumni news. Shenandoah has once again offered January term (J term) as fully online, hybrid remote/in person or fully face-to-face undergraduate credit classes.
But if webinars are a better fit, the Alumni Association is offering weekly free webinars to aid in your personal and professional development. I invite you to review other alumni benefits and services or the ways that you can give back to your alma mater – through your time, talent or monetary support of scholarships, the new marching band, or our baseball/softball complex among many other giving priorities.
Wishing each of you a safe and healthy 2022,
Anne Lewis
President, SU Alumni Association
