Move-In Day
On New Student Move-In Day, new residential students check in to their residence halls and will be greeted by a team of Shenandoah staff and students. Be sure to place a sign on your car’s dashboard with the name of your residence hall. Before packing your car, you should label all belongings – boxes, suitcases, etc. – with your name, residence hall and room number. After you move your student in, you are invited to attend Navigator and Convocation. Families and friends are welcome to have dinner with their students on or off-campus before students are due back for their mandatory hall meeting.
New and returning Shenandoah students arrive on different days. Carefully read the schedule below. If your scheduled move in is before move in day, go directly to your assigned residence hall to check in. An email was sent July 1 with all housing assignments. Please direct any questions to reslife@su.edu.
