David M. Greenberg is a sound designer and composer from Plantation, Florida, by way of Knoxville, Tennessee, who enjoys collaborating on projects to include sound as an additional character to drive the narrative.
He most recently served as the resident sound designer and sound supervisor for DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, and Pennsylvania Shakespeare Theatre. Greenberg is an early career member of the Theatrical Sound Designers and Composers Association (TSDCA).
He received his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at the University of Tennessee and his Master of Fine Arts in Theatre: Sound Design and Technology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
His theatrical career began in high school as an actor and general technician. Once he traded onstage for offstage, Greenberg worked as a shop hand, general rigging operator, mixing engineer and freelance composer. He uses the many aspects of theatre to encompass audiences in his music and designs through collaboration with fellow artists.
